Instant Ja-jang Myun @ Shin Sun Mi Market

Craving for Ja-jang Myun again!!! This time we found instant ja-jang myun at one of the convenient store in Ampang Korea village :)

Slurp.. look delicious, can't wait to eat now.. this only cost RM6.90 It was not written on the product itself. We actually took only one and went to the cashier. When we were about to pay, the lady said " 1 by 1 " we looked at each other, puzzled. Then it s struck us that she meant "Buy 1 free 1"

IMG_4744

This is how it looked without the box. Frozen mee with black bean sauce underneath

IMG_4745

With a 700 volt microwave oven, it only takes 5 and a half minute to cook.
So, in it goes

IMG_0969

After the 'ding' sound, we took it out, mixed it and wallah, instant ja-jang myun ready to be consumed. It had the ja-jang taste and is enough to satisfy the hunger for the moment, but the best ja-jang myun will always be the one at the Korea airport

Make your choice at the counter. You can opt for ala-cartes or sets that is already matched.
Some of the choices on the menu are plain fries, mash potato, onion ring, spaghetti, and drinks

After ordering you will be giving a receipt printer with an order number. Your food will be made right after you ordered ,so you can see how they make live and served you hot food from the kitchen

See...... there are many spectators viewing this. Actually queuing is not necessary, as they will call your number once your order is ready to be pick up.

Now Sweet Poems bring the same concept dessert and drinks to Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur
They served mostly Mango desserts and some others as well which you can find in the menu here

IMG_4750

Served in a cute bowl like this :)

IMG_4751

Sago with pamelo & mango - Rm 7.90
Looks so sweet but on my first bite, the mango tasted so original and goes well with the pamelo. Not as sweet as what I thought at the first place.
Healthy food with fruits :)

Famous Seremban's specialty

A get away from the busy city of Kuala Lumpur to Seremban for a ' makan trip ' that is just 45 mins away.

First station, my favorite curry chicken bread. There are big(RM28.00) and small portion(RM18.00) which can shared by 2person to 5person

How to eat this?

First grab a pieces of bread from the side of bread and dip it into the curry. The curry is not too spicy and comes with a little taste of sweetness that even a small kids can accept.
Totally agree that both the bread and curry are the best combination ever!!

IMG_2912

Second station, after a light lunch and roaming around, we continue our trip with the famous beef noodle

Dry type (RM5.50)
The beef noodle is very different compare to KL. The noodles contains peanut, sesame seeds and covered in sweet and sour sauce. Although this is the best seller, I could not quite accept the combination. I still think that KL's beef noodles is the best.

IMG_2696

Soup type(5.50)
Chicken clear soup noodles.

IMG_2695

After a full lunch, we wanted to bring home some ''Siew Pau" as most people always say 'Seremban Siew Pau is the best and you can only get it in Seremban.'
We were welcomed with a shock that all Siew Pau(s) were sold out and we would have to wait for 2hours.
So we just grab the egg tarts,

IMG_2918

Fresh from the oven and looks so tempting.
RM 1.50 each

IMG_2920

All the food above you can get it in Seremban town :)

Pat Ping Su @ Nabe Bakery Cafe

Our stomach was already bloated but we still decided to visit this bakery that we found online. Located about 5mins drive from Korean Village which we located using Google map.

When we entered, we were greeted by the lady boss in Korean and we just nodded. We proceeded to the counter and was thinking of what to order. The lady boss recommended us 'Redbean Icewater' or they call it pat ping su in Korean.

It is actually a Korean dessert made of crushed ice, red beans, some fruits, mocchis and topped with chocolate syrup. We placed our order and was told to take a seat but we chose to roam around. This big red apple cake caught our attention quickly.

IMG_4383

Even all other cakes look so special

IMG_4384

They also sell cookies

IMG_4386

Bread with a whole egg. RM.5.50

IMG_4387

Bread sticks with heart shape

IMG_4388

I can't help but go back looking at the cakes

IMG_4389

Bear cake, filled with cream

IMG_4390

It provides a quite and comfortable environment for you to enjoy your food

IMG_4391

Offers quite a number of seats

IMG_4392

Counter and menu above it

IMG_4406

Finally our pat ping su arrived

IMG_4397

We took some photos and started to dig into it and we found the treasures, even more red beans

IMG_4403

The taste was very different from what we get from Ice Kacang. Could be because of the ingredients and the chocolate syrup. We keep digging in it without much conversation. It tasted so good and refreshing even we were so full from our lunch.

More breads. yogurt bread

IMG_4413

Buns

IMG_4411

Rolls and bread sticks

IMG_4414

They also have fresh fruit juices and cakes that are served as slices

IMG_4415

Whole view of the shop

IMG_4417

We paid for the pat ping su which cost RM9.50 and left. On the way back we saw even more Korean shops. I'll definitely be back....

Outside the shop where we were about to leave
