My Happiest Moment

eng_chin_logo_fin_op

In early stages of my life, I was brought up in a moderate family. Leaving a moderate life such as going to school and back, from Mondays to Fridays, waiting for weekends and Public Holidays.
A time when my parents would come back in the evening, cook dinner, having meals together on the dinner table, watching TV and having them questioning about school and friends.

As I grow older, entering the teen age of 16-17, I started to go out with friends after school, sitting at the mamak stall up to late evening. Even at home, I take my food into my plate and sat at the soft watching TV. Did not really care about their concerns.

Same goes to college life and beginning of my working life. At the time, my home is like a hotel to me, where I just used it as a storage place and only back when i need to catch a sleep. When I started to make some progress in my work, I started to book flight for travel trips

I can say that about 90% of my time be it working, studying and travelling i spent with my mates and my colleagues. My last trip was to Korea somewhere in July this year. All this while I thought that I am doing my best, working, travelling and hanging out with my mates. Visiting other countries further and further away, enjoying my life.

When I was in Korea, I thought that this is my furthers place from home and planning to visit other countries that are even further. When I landed here, I saw Koreans really take cares of the family well. Piggy backing their kids even the kids are in primary school from what I see. The place was an eye opener to me. They will all sit together to eat, do some shoppings, going to theme parks and even taking rides together.

After a tiring day at the largest theme park in Korea, Everland, I sat down to take a rest while waiting for Kathy to get some snacks. I saw this pretty little girl that was with her family walking pass me. The little girl was holding a balloon in her hands, and was smiling so happily as she walk.

Out of all the sudden, memories of my earlier life with my family came flashing back and it almost teared me up. I then notices that the best days of my life is when I was her age. Living under protections from parents, their guidance, concerns, advise and everything they do to bring me up as a person today.

I notices that the materials this days will always pass us by but the love of our parents will never pass. As a chinese saying " bringing up a child up to 100 years, you will need to be worried for them until they are 99"

This is the photo of my holiday with my parents and a very memorable one. I will deffinately work towards that and spending more time with them
